Getting started
Most people book a first visit within 5 days. Evening and weekend times are available, and you can see real open times for each clinician before you book.
We currently see patients who are physically in Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Delaware at the time of the visit. If you travel, check the state you will be in or reschedule for when you are home. If you move, we will help you transfer care.
A first visit is a 50 to 60 minute video conversation. Your clinician asks about what is going on, your history and your goals, then you agree on a plan together. There is nothing to prepare beyond a quiet, private spot and a phone or laptop.
WellKeel is for adults 18 and older who are physically in Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Delaware during the visit. We see people for anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, ADHD and more. We do not currently see children or teens.
A phone, tablet or laptop with a camera and microphone, a steady internet connection and a private spot. There is nothing to install: you join from your browser. A device check in the waiting room helps you test sound and video, and every visit has a phone fallback.
Insurance & cost
We accept Sample Medicaid Plan A, Sample Commercial Plan B and Sample Commercial Plan C, and Sample Medicare Plan D. Use Check my insurance and we will confirm your coverage and estimate your cost before your first visit.
Self-pay therapy visits are $95 and a psychiatry intake is $180. You will always see the price before you book, and there are no surprise bills.
Your cost depends on your plan: a copay, or your deductible until it is met. Before your first visit we estimate your share so you know what to expect. Sample plans in this demo show example amounts only.
Yes. If you pay yourself, you can download a superbill from Billing after each visit. It lists the visit date, service code and fee so you can ask your plan about reimbursement. We cannot promise what a plan will pay.
Privacy & safety
Visits use encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video. Only your care team can see your records, and we never sell your data. You decide who we share information with.
WellKeel is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) any time, or call 911 for immediate danger.
Video, messages and records are encrypted in transit and at rest. Visits are never recorded. You can join from a private browser tab, and you can leave the visit at any time.
Prescriptions
Yes. Our psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners can diagnose, prescribe and manage medication by video. Therapists and prescribers share one care plan, with your permission. Controlled substances follow federal and state telehealth rules.
That is a decision for your prescriber after a full evaluation, and it follows federal and state telehealth rules. Some medications may require an in-person visit or extra steps. Your prescriber will explain what applies to you, and nothing is guaranteed in advance.
Your prescriber reviews how a medication is working at follow-up visits and can send refills to the pharmacy you choose. Never stop or change a medication on your own. Message your prescriber if something feels wrong.
Your clinician
Yes, any time and at no cost. A good fit matters more than anything, so if your clinician is not the right match, pick someone new and we will pass along only what you want shared.
You can reschedule or cancel from your Visits page. Please give at least 24 hours notice so another person can use the time. Late changes may carry a fee, which you will see before you book.
Yes. Couples and family sessions are available with clinicians who offer them, such as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). Everyone joins by their own link, and each person can use their own device.
You can message your care team, complete short weekly check-ins and see your progress in your portal. Messages are for non-urgent questions and are answered on business days. For anything urgent, call or text 988.
